We are currently seeking a Human Resource Consultant to join our team.
Human Resource Consultant
20 Month Term Position (approximately)
Duties:
Reporting to the Manager Human Resource Services, the Human Resource Consultant will provide a range of human resource services including job evaluation, staffing, labour relations, compensation, benefit liaison and coordination, and research and analysis.
Qualifications:
* A related post secondary education with several years of directly related human resource experience in the areas of job evaluation, recruitment and labour relations. Experience with point rating job evaluation systems and compensation and benefits will be an asset. A professional designation (CHRP or IPMA) will be an asset. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be also be considered
* Experience and skills in research and analysis
* Investigative, decision making and problem solving skills and experience
* Organizational and project management experience
* Demonstrated commitment to client service
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and with external stakeholders
* Demonstrated commitment to learning
* Must have experience in the various applications within Microsoft Office Suite.
