Based on the findings and conclusion of the study, the
researcher thereby recommends the following;

Health education should be given to
the general public on the implication of environmental degradation.
ii.
Enforcement of law which will help
to prevent indiscriminate dumping of refuse in the environment.
iii.
The government should set standard
for manufacturing industries to dilute/treat their waste to a permissible
standard that the environment can tolerate without harm.
iv.
Good construction of
drainage/culverts should also be encouraged.
v.
Planting of vegetables and cover crops
which will help to protect the environment.
