About USAID Project:
RECO Industries Limited is implementing USAID/UGANDA’s
Production for Improved Nutrition Project. The project works to reduce the
burden of under nutrition by providing ready to Use Therapeutic and
supplementary Foods to vulnerable groups in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Production for improved Nutrition team
to plan and carry out the implementation of OVC activities. - Responsible for training of CRPs and Caregivers
- Efficiently organize and carry out coaching for
VSLA groups, producer organizations and farmers’ groups - Carry out monthly data collection, analysis and
reporting on OVC activities in the district. - Participate in developing training materials for
learning sessions, harvest meetings and coaching visits. - Generate quality and timely quarterly and annual
reports and update the technical team on the progress of activities. - Actively participate in documenting success
stories - Take part in meetings with partners at district
and sub-county level
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
Social Work, Community Psychology, Community Development studies or
related field - At least two (2) years’ experience related to
health and community development work preferably in the field of community
health with orphans and vulnerable children - Good working knowledge of economic strengthening
and approaches is strongly desired - Working knowledge of community structures and systems
- Community mobilization skills, ability to build
capacity of community led groups to implement their mandate; - Skills and experience in data collection,
documentation and report writing - Past exposure and experience working with other
implementing partners - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Willingness to travel and spend 80% of the time
in the field - The applicants should be residents and fluent in
the local language of the district of coverage.
