A glimpse at the role:

The Talent and Training Administrator will help with hiring,
onboarding, performance management, and training systems across the
organization. This position requires someone with a proactive and
positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks and
priorities. In addition to possessing good judgment and developed
problem solving skills, the Talent and Training Administrator must
possess a high degree of initiative and exercise discretion when
handling details of a confidential and critical nature. This position
requires a team player with strong organizational skills, a great
sense of humour and the ability to interact professionally at all
times with all employees.

Some of the things you’ll get paid to do:
• HR administration including preparing and managing employee records,
databases, files, and confidential documents
• Assist with the hiring process, including recruitment, updating of
interview materials, tracking and liaising with candidates, and
onboarding
• Assist with talent management administration including performance
reviews, training/development, employee scheduling, and exit processes
to facilitate employee engagement and success
• HR data tracking and analytics
• Cultivate positive employee relations through support and responses
to HR inquiries
• Be well versed and up-to-date with Talent Management, HR, and
Employment Standards literature
• Research best practices in HR and recommend improvements to existing
practices

Required Education and Experience:
• College diploma or University degree in Human Resources, Business,
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of work experience
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Apps

• Structured and self-directed approach to project work
• Ability to consistently meet targets and deadlines
• Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and make effective decisions
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive

• Motivated to improve current work practices and take ownership of
responsibilities

Nice-to-haves:
• French language skills
