RCH MDA Neuromuscular Fellowship Job Vacancy in Australia

The Department of Neurology at the Royal Children’s Hospital is one of the busiest child neurology services in the country, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. It is staffed by six full time and four sectional specialists. Apart from general neurology, the department offers subspecialty care in epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, stroke, neurogenetics and neonatal neurology.
For 2012, the Department is offering this full-time 12-month position commencing on 6/2/12.

Fellows will be expected to participate in the out of hours roster.
Fellows in training with the RACP will be expected to have completed their basic training at the time of commencing the Fellowship. Candidates applying from outside the RACP system will be expected to have a minimum of similar training (i.e. three or more years of accredited full-time paediatric training).

Assessment for this position will include personal CV and references. Applicants will then be short-listed for an interview.

Applicants must be eligible for registration as Medical Practitioners in Australia, and international applicants must be able to obtain an appropriate visa and satisfy all International Medical Graduate requirements. Successful applicants must also hold a current Victorian Working with Children Card prior to commencing employment and have successfully passed a police check.
