1. Director
of Marketing

Principal-Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate
    High Level of Marketing Management Process;
  • Demonstrate
    good Knowledge of Business Strategies and their Marketing Implications;
  • Ability
    to work in a dynamic and fiercely competitive business environment;
  • Develop
    a Marketing plan and lead the execution for the profitability of RBA;
  • Design
    annual promotional plans for RBA and direct the implementation;
  • Lead a
    team in formulation of annual marketing budgets and support management in
    cost control;
  • To
    establish income targets in coordination with senior executives and
    provide information and guidance to prepare annual plans;
  • Be
    assertive and challenge convention, so that new sales, marketing and
    sponsorship deals can be effectively harnessed to increase revenues for
    RBA;
  • Create
    a positive, competitive and ambitious environment for the sales and
    marketing team, creating a spirit that drives exceptional sales targets
    and rewards overachievement;
  • To be
    decisive in all aspects of delivery, while providing an intelligent and
    strategies approach to planning new business;
  • Plan
    and deliver promotional .events that effectively develops the profile of
    the RBA and increase sales opportunities. Build close relationships that are
    beneficial for RBA with key clients to leverage greater income from
    long-term and strategic sales deals;
  • Understand
    and support the public service ethos of RBA. Have a track record in
    building new business in East Africa, with a proven experience as a successful
    sales and marketing executive. Display high ethical standards;
  • Having
    experience in the media, creative industries and marketing sectors provide
    a sound evaluation of the sales and marketing environment in Rwanda,
    creating sales offerings and packages that exploit opportunities to the
    most effective;
  • Have
    the ability to build new business and income for RBA in the Rwandan
    context, understanding what tools will be needed to establish information,
    gain new clients and provide intelligence on the habits, needs and
    interests of audiences across the country. Build a profile of potential
    core clients while also expanding the opportunity to attract smaller,
    first time broadcast advertisers;
  • Deep
    knowledge of the advertising and media industry;
  • The
    successful candidate will need to exhibit outstanding leadership and
    people skills both internally as well as externally.

Minimum
Qualifications:

At least a
University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field
with 5years experience in Marketing. An MBA or CIM Qualification would be an
added advantage.

 

2. Sales
Executives

Supervisor: Sales & Advertising
Manager

Compensation: Commission Base

Principal
Accountabilities

  • To
    achieve an annual sales target within a defined territory and managing
    major accounts within and without Rwanda;
  • To
    manage defined key accounts with a view to identifying additional sales
    opportunities;
  •  To
    develop the different accounts within the territory by taking each client
    through the sales lifecycle;
  • To work
    closely with the sales team to identify, qualify new sales opportunities
    and bringing to close new clients and revenue;
  • Plan
    and schedule presentations and demonstrations of RBA products and
    services;
  • Maintain
    and update Account data on each account throughout sales process and year.

Minimum
Qualifications:

At least a Diploma
in Marketing, Business Administration and or other related disciplines.
