Position: General Manager

Pure + simple is a Toronto based Spa company in Toronto with 3
locations in the GTA, a franchise in Waterloo with wholesale clients
and Ecommerce clients across Canada is looking for an organized,
confident, proven manager who enjoys leading and welcome changes. The
General Manager will need good organizational, operational & strategic
leadership skills to undertake the following tasks;
• Able to create & maintain a system that has a fully functioning
internal infrastructure for all employee
• Create a senior team with help of a HR consultant
• Communicate regularly with Senior Managers
• Executing day to day managerial activities
• Communicate short & long term goals to employees
• Effectively managing change via companywide town hall meetings
• Enforce strategic direction
• Execute the vision agree upon with owners & employees
• Manage relationships with direct reports, through weekly team
meetings, quarterly reviews & yearly planning
• Conduct regular store visits, spend time with all levels of
organization to gain in-depth operational knowledge
• Implement structural systems put in place with help of a HR consultant
• Facilitate re branding
• Support Franchise Manager in Franchising Plan & roll out program
• Knows & supports sustainable & healthy life styles
Education
• Bachelors of Business Degree
• MBA preferred
Experience
• 5+ years as a Retail General Manager or Retail Operations Manager
• Relevant Industry Experience – spa, hospitality, retail with
combination of product & service
• Experience in skincare/beauty desirable
• Exposure to Franchise retailing desirable
• Is a proven leader that thrives on decision-making & applying due
authority
• Is a keen & approachable listener
• Able to set direction
• Ability to meet strict deadlines & perform under pressure in a fast
paced work environment
• remain focused to accomplish goals with flexibility to be objective
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills
• Communicates direction clearly to others

Compensation: Depending on experience, education & skills $80,000 – 95,000
