Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Attending site meetings with consultants
• Study of construction drawings details and coordinate with the consultants an sub-contractors to resolve any technical / site issues
• Ensuring that works on site are carried out according to specifications / drawings
• Inform Project Director or Project Manager on any technical / site problems arising
• Supervising the progress or work on site
• Reporting work progress to the necessary party
• Coordination of sub-contractor’s work and ensuring that the work on site is on schedule
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Post-graduate Master’s Degree in the field of Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution by the Professional Engineers Board
• At least 5 years (in aggregate) of practical experience in the execution of specialist building works (whether in Singapore or elsewhere) after attaining the qualifications
• Able to work independently under tight timeline and pressure
• Computer literate (MS Project, Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to work on CAD drawings are added advantage
• Possess strong written & communication skills
• Hardworking, responsible and able to work as a team
• Registered with the relevant authorities in Singapore will be an added point
• Able to speak English, Chinese mandarin and Dialects will be preferred
• Preferably to start work in a short notice
