• Leadership potential-The Scholarship shall be awarded annually.
-Applicants must have applied and been accepted into the Waikato Postgraduate Diploma in Management
Studies programme in Tauranga before applying for this scholarship.
– The value of the Scholarship is equivalent to one year’s fees for the two year PGDipMgtSt programme
offered in Tauranga. The Scholarship will be offered over two years and will cover half of the participant’s
fees in the first year, and half in the second.

Scholarship Description:This scholarship has been established for the benefit of members of Priority One to assist a participant to undertake study at Postgraduate level namely the Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (PGDipMgtSt). Priority One is the Western Bay of Plenty region’s economic development organisation, established in 2001 by the business community in partnership with local authorities. The Priority One Management Scholarship is awarded annually to assist a participant to undertake study at the University of Waikato’s Tauranga Campus.
