or full-time role…ideal for enthusiastic self-motivated musicians/music
teachers who are available during and after school hours (and wish to
supplement existing income from other work such as private teaching /
performing / session work, etc).
We are a highly successful, national company that offers piano-style keyboard
lessons and guitar lessons to small groups (max. 5 per lesson) of primary
school children at schools during and after school hours.

students develop their full potential to excel in academic work.
We are now seeking applications for teachers of: one or more of the above
instruments, to commence
immediately and be available to teach in Term 3, 2016 in a
variety of locations in Brisbane.

- Keyboards/equipment
(at no cost to you) - Training
in operation of all keyboards/equipment - Ongoing
teacher support and professional development - Administrative
support including preparation of lesson timetables and all billing of
customers/collection of fees (you don’t have to do any of this)
Criteria:
We are now seeking part-time and full-time teachers who are willing to make a
serious commitment as continuity of teacher is important to students, parents
and schools.
To be a teacher with Primary Music Institute you will need:
- Playing
skills at least equivalent to AMEB Gr 5 - The
ability to teach keyboard AND
guitar AND / or drums - Drivers
licence and your own reliable car - Willing
to travel up to 30-40 minutes from your home - Mobile
telephone and email - Some
teaching experience - An
interest in sales/business development - An
enthusiastic, self-motivated demeanour - The
ability to relate well to children, parents and school staff - Flexibility
and long term commitment
Applicants will also need to obtain a satisfactory WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
prior to commencing teaching.
