An exciting opportunity exists for experienced mental health clinicians to be part of the triage service based at St Vincent’s in Fitzroy. This is a new and exciting opportunity for senior clinicians interested in working with a range of primary health care and other community agencies in the provision of treatment and support to those consumers referred for follow up by psychiatric triage.
Whilst the positions are linked with the Primary Mental Health Service, the clinicians will be an integral part of the psychiatric triage team working in the Emergency Department.
You are a talented and motivated professional with proven ability and extensive experience in clinical mental health settings and demonstrated active involvement in providing and participating in professional development. You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including problem solving ability and conflict resolution skills.
To be successful in this innovative program you are a clinician with specialist knowledge and experience in the assessment & treatment of complex high prevalence disorders, as well as skills in community education and development.
