Planting Assistant – 3 Month Contract

Planting/Gardening Design Assistant to help create gardening plantings.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1. A background or interest in plants/horticulture is required. An
artistic eye is a huge asset! Train
ing will also be provided by Pots
and Plants Inc to ensure you understand our methodology and planting
requirements.
2. The majority of this work occurs outdoors at our clients’
homes/businesses and we have a very professional reputation. As a
result, a polite mannerism along with a very professional and
courteous attitude is essential.
3. This role is quite labour intensive so it is imperative that you
enjoy this type of physical work; we offer a supportive environment
with staff that enjoy working hard and take pride in their creations.
Heavy lifting can be delegated to others on the team, if that is an
issue for you.
4. You will be working within a team setting, so it is important that
you are able to work well with others and are eager to listen and
learn from each other. It is a very creative, rewarding and fun place
to work!

DRIVING & LOCATION: A valid Driver’s License and insurance is
required, and driving a company truck may be required. Our workshop is
located in King City, so the ability to get there every morning,
whether by your own vehicle or GO bus is essential.
HOURS: Approx. 40-60 hrs/week from April to December. Our busy season
includes working 6 days per week (Monday through Saturday) from
7am-5pm. Hours fluctuate with the seasons to include more or less
hours as needed.
