Advertising, a division of Postmedia Network Inc., has an immediate full-time
opening for an Account Executive. The Account Executive will be responsible for
proactively seeking both print and digital solutions for our existing clients,
and marketing for new business.
Responsibilities:
•Manage a group of
client accounts on a proactive basis;
•Attain both planned annual
revenue targets and customer satisfaction
levels;
•Apply a consultative selling style accompanied by the delivery of proactive
advertising proposals to key decision-makers;
•Manage clients’ day-to-day information requests and issues;
•Consistently seek out new revenue opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
•Successful
experience in an advertising environment serving clients and advertising
agencies;
•Proven ability to sell both digital and print effectively;
•In depth understanding of the digital landscape;
•Minimum of 3 years selling digital display advertising required;
•Knowledge of DSM and DFP, a definite asset;
•Solid interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) with the
ability to maintain a professional approach at all times;
•Consultative sales approach with excellent presentation and negotiating
skills;
•Tenacious, persistent, strong analytical and problem – solving skills with
solid mathematical skills;
•Excellent planning and organizational skills with the desire and commitment to
working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, client-focused environment;
•Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace
change;
•Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently to achieve
revenue goals;
•Proven ability to sustain and grow business and revenue;
•Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
