Eligibility:-The
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences has a strategic ambition of being a
leading research faculty.
-Candidates for these fellowships will be selected in accordance with this, and
expected to be in the upper segment of their class with respect to academic
credentials.
-Applicants must hold a PhD degree in physiology, neuroscience, or related
disciplines.
-The preferred candidate has experience from in vivo imaging, but lack of such
experience may be compensated for by experience from in vivo Electrophysiology.
-Experience from multi photon imaging and programming is an advantage.
-The candidate will use in vivo multi photon laser-scanning microscopy to
investigate neural processing and brain plasticity. We offer broad training
possibilities in the required experimental methods within a stimulating
academic environment.
-The research fellow should be able to work independently and structured, while
at the same time engage in close collaborations. When evaluating the
applications, emphasis will be given to their academic and personal abilities
to carry out the project. Applicants may be called for an interview.
-The main purpose of post-doctoral research fellowships is to qualify
researchers to work in top academic positions within their disciplines.
