Youth Economic Security through Active Citizenship and Right to Protection.
Plan currently operates in Gatsibo, Kayonza, Rwamagana, Bugesera and Nyaruguru.
Plan International Rwanda has recently entered into partnership with UNHCR as
partner implementing Sexual & Gender Based Violence Responses and Child
protection in all Refugees Camps across the country.

will include provision of technical support and build capacity of staff and
partners to mainstream gender and inclusion across the organization and in programs
and to design, implement and monitor and evaluate programs related to gender
equality and inclusion

development programmes and project, mobilize resources,

- Advocacy
and promotion of Plan’s mandate and mission on girls rights - Effective
management of the country BIAAG-related programs and ensure they
contribute to achieving country, regional and global BIAAG movement
results - Manage
the programmatic aspects at the CO level of Plan’s Because I Am a Girl
campaign, working closely with the Program Quality Team and communication
team through the BIAAG task force; - Develop
practical approaches and tools to for PUs and CO staff to use in
implementing, monitoring and reporting on country BIAAG related programs
and provides quarterly updates to PUs, CO, RESA or any other on the
progress/outcomes of these programs; - Develop
strategic programmatic partnerships on BIAAG with key stakeholders in the
country

- Establishing
in-house networks to enhance integration of Gender with other domains - Establishing
Partnerships with NGOs and government entities to increase local
resource mobilization and long term sustainability - Documenting
achievements and best practices in Gender programming for internal and
external circulation - Developing
and strengthening collaborative relationships at national, provincial and
district levels in Gender - Keeping
track of the development and continued review of Gender policies - Participating
in workshops, conferences at both local and international forums
Establish
and implement standards of accountability, effectiveness and efficiency for the

- Build
the capacity of Plan’s International Rwanda program staff and partners to
design, implement and monitor gender transformative programs based on
Plan’s CCCD standards - Ensure
that the CCCD standard on Gender Equality and Tackling exclusion are
utilized by plan staff in designing, implementing and monitoring programs
and proejcts. - Provide
guidance on the use of performance indicators and evaluations to reflect
progress towards equality outcomes and impacts throughout the life of the
program - Assist
in the design of gender analysis to assess gaps between men and women in
Plan zones of interventions and provide recomemendations for the way
forward; - Ensuring
that accountability standards of effectiveness and efficiency are
established and monitored - Ensuring
that Budgets are spent according to the Program operational Plans - Assisting
in the development and management of Gender related grants - Ensuring
that evaluations of projects are done regularly to improve program

- A
Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Gender Studies or other related field - At
least 5 years’ experience and skills in networking with local and
international NGOs and agencies, ministries and partners - 3-5
years’ experience at management level
- Experience
in related field will be an added advantage.
