We are a well-established Vancouver-based company that has been providing
experiential learning, leadership development, and high impact team-building
programs and events since 1997 for various population groups.
Location of work: About 50% of the work will take place in our Vancouver office
and about 50% of the work will take place at one of our ‘Adventure-Learning
Centres’ in Maple Ridge. We are currently recruiting for 2 positions –
description as follows:
1) Outdoor Instructor = Several positions available: Part-time contract ‘field
staff’ for the Spring/Summer/Fall season, based on availability and the
potential to continue on with us into next year. You will be
guiding/instructing/facilitating highly dynamic outdoor group activities
and events.
2) Program Coordinator = One position available: Full-time Youth & Schools
Program Coordinator for the same time period. In addition to the skills noted
already, you will be required to have extensive leadership, communication,
computer skills, logistics, project management and customer service skills.

education/teaching/creativity/psychology field, 2) outdoor
instruction/guiding/camp-based experiences, and 3) event
instruction/facilitation/management.
Desired skills/experience may include:
• Relevant experience, background, work history & education
• Experience working with children and youth or adult/corporate sector
• Knowledge of program risk-management & assessment
• Experience in event coordination, program management, leadership,
team-building & group facilitation
• Current First Aid and CPR “C” (preferable OFA or WFR)
• Belay and safety skills for top-rope rock-climbing, rappelling, &/or high
ropes
• Low & High Ropes Course Instruction
• Flat Water Canoeing
• Working knowledge of ecology, outdoor, environmental education
• Specialized skills in archery, orienteering, canoeing, high ropes,
rappelling, rock climbing, low ropes, team building/group dynamics.
