The Institute for
Web Science and Technologies is currently accepting applications for PhD
scholarship in the field of Semantic Web as of the next possible
date. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this
scholarship programme.
This fellowship aims
to assist high-achieving and highly motivated students who have been offered a
full-time place.
The Institute for
Web Science and Technologies (WeST) was founded in October 2009 at the
University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany, and deals with the basic IT
infrastructure of the 21st century: the World Wide Web. Research and
development concerns, on the one hand, the technical aspec
ts of the web as an
open, globally distributed, networked system.

Requirements are
Very good Master’s degree in computer science or adjacent discipline, acquired
from a University or a similar. We expect outstanding analytical skills, very
good programming abilities and some first experiences in the respective topics.
