Hours of Work: 24-32 hours per week. Overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager, Operations, this
multi-skilled and motivated individual will be team player, with the core
competencies, skills and potential to positively impact our editorial content

.
While contributing to all production and editorial areas, core responsibilities
will included, but are not limited to:

Non – Linear Editing of News and Sports stories
and content for daily Newscasts
Online editing when required
Acquiring satellite feeds, managing Velocity
editing system
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Post -Secondary Education in Broadcasting or a
related field
Working knowledge of News Technical Operations.
Knowledge of Non-Linear Editing systems, including
Velocity, Final Cut Pro, Avid
MUST have a proven track record of being able to
work under pressure and demonstrate ability to react quickly and
productively in a changing environment requiring immediate
decision-making.
MUST have ability to work with minimal
supervision and within a team environment with emphasis on internal
assistance and upholding professional standards.
