One of Australia’s most successful civil contractors has a unique opportunity to take up a new role as their Operations Manager with a focus on overseeing the delivery of infrastructure projects including: road / bridge, rail, water treatment and mining infrastructure. Last year they turned over more than $500 M and this will continue to grow through 2011.
While reporting to the General Manager you will assist the team of Project Managers with any day to day issues. From initial site set up, right through the delivery stage offering support to the site team with any contractual issues or requests from the client. Project Managers will report to you and the on a regular basis ensuring that budgets are met, programs are followed and QA is correct on their projects which will are civil infrastructure projects situated in South East QLD.
This role will suit a hard-working industry professional with extensive civil construction project experience on medium to large scale projects. Local experience and contacts need to accompany superior communication and time management skills. The successful applicant will be commercially astute and have tertiary qualifications in civil engineering.
