In
this role, you will:

- act
as the first point of contact for international and domestic companies
inquiring about tax credit and financial programs - provide
consultative advice and assistance to applicants - conduct
risk analysis, intake review and assessment and research corporate
histories to assess risk criteria and risk assessment score - review
claims including agreements, legal and financial documents, identify
discrepancies and missing information and provide explanation to
applicants - assist
with the promotions and communications of the tax credit and financial
programs - prepare
a range of statistical analyses and reports - develop
and maintain administrative, record management and reporting systems

How
do I qualify?

Knowledge:
- you
have knowledge in one or more of Ontario’s culture media industries (e.g.
film and television, book and magazine publishing, interactive digital
media, music) - you
have knowledge of the legislation and regulation under specified tax
credit sections of the Taxation Act, 2007 (Ontario) - you
have knowledge of tax credit programs and public and private financing
sources for cultural media products - you
have a good understanding of the OMDC programs and services

have experience reviewing complex financial statements and budgets, legal
documents and business agreements and you can identify discrepancies from
program eligibility and application criteria - you
have experience assessing risks and you can research from a range of

completed in a timely manner - you
have strong problem-solving skills

have experience with customer service and you have knowledge of customer
