coordinate support for the delivery of integrated natural resource
management programs in the Northeast Region. This role will be
critical in delivering the Ministry’s mandate by providing strategic
leadership and direction to staff in the regional office.
As Regional Resources Manager, you will:
• Lead the strategic development and execution of planning initiatives
related to land use within the region.
• Lead natural resource management planning for the region by
coordinating the preparation and support for the delivery of
integrated natural resource management programs.
• Provide strategic advice to the Regional Director and District
Managers to ensure solutions are consistent with policy, priorities
and initiatives.
• Manage a large team and undertake the planning, budgeting and human
resources management for the unit.

• You have proven experience leading a large and diverse team and have
demonstrated success as a supportive leader who fosters collaboration
and teamwork in your staff.
• You have demonstrated the ability to create an inclusive and
productive work environment in a time of continuous change.
• You have had success in building relationships with staff, focusing
on delivery and developing capacity.
Stakeholder Relationship and Change Management:
• You have experience building and maintaining relationships across
the organization in order to gather input, build consensus and deliver
on priorities.
• You are experienced at successfully negotiating, influencing,
building agreement and supporting change across an array of internal
and external stakeholders.
• You have proven success in directing and managing large change
management initiatives and responding to changing and diverse
stakeholder needs.
Technical Knowledge:
• You have an understanding of natural resources management to lead
and provide advice on land use and natural resource management
planning in the Northeast Region.
Salary range: $93,050.00 – $106,350.00 per year
