better, reach more farmers if communication is treated with care and
professionalism. We are looking for talented, dedicated communications
specialist to contribute in driving the organization’s goal of serving more
farmers.

Your
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help
in planning and coordinating department meetings - Plan,
conduct the weekly traffic/department meeting - Coordinate
with team leads on department communication - Tracking
field team work with Farmers - Follow
our field teams, capturing all field stories and communicating to the
rest of the team - Represent
the organization in our partner meetings - Represent
the organization in local government meetings - Represent
the organization in other partner meetings - Manage
the organization’s internal newsletter - Write,
edit and publish the organization’s internal newsletter - Work
with the organization’s regional communications teams - Being
a liaison for the Rwanda program in terms of regional communication’s
team - Work
with other communications team regionally in promoting the organization’s
work of serving farmers
Our
requirements
requirements
- Commitment
to living in a rural area for an extended period of time. - Ability
and willingness to travel 2-3 days a week in rural areas depending on
project. - Excellent
command of English ,French- and Kinyarwanda
- Intermediate
to advanced computer skills: intermediate typing, intermediate Microsoft
Word skills, intermediate excel skills. - Top
performing academic background with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
(Preference in Media and communications) - At
least 2 years work experience - At
least 1 year team management experience
