Background.
Olleh Rwanda Networks, Ltd (“oRn Ltd”) is a
licensed company that has been incorporated under the laws and regulations of
the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing
& installing 4G LTE advanced technology within Rwanda.
In order to effectively accomplish its business
objectives, oRn Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to fill
the following vacant positions.

I. Position:  Legal Manager (1
Person)
Key responsibilities.
Legal Risk Management
  • Review ongoing cases
    and advice management accordingly
  • Liaise with relevant
    departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified,
    appropriate courses of action are taken.
  • Provide legal
    protection and risk management advice to management.
  • Provide and
    interpret legal information and disseminate appropriate legal requirements
    to staff.
  • Serves as the
    company secretary.
Policy Formulation
  • Review and advise
    management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
  • Review and draft
    contracts and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance
    with all statutory or legal   requirements
Handle Litigation
  • Initiate Court
    proceedings against the company’s defaulters and other entities in breach
    of their obligations towards   the company
  • Follow-up on
    progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external
    lawyers.
Regulatory compliance
  • Formulate compliance
    check-lists to be used for the purpose of ensuring that all information
    required is provided       accordingly.
  • Continuously monitor
    compliance with applicable statutory obligations and advise management
    accordingly.
Qualification, Experience, Skills &
Competencies required.
  • Bachelor degree in
    Law field and a diploma in legal practice would be an advantage.
  • More than 5 years’
    experience in a law related areas.
  • Legal experience in
    telecommunication industry.
  • Strong leadership
    and managerial skills.
  • Be a person of
    proven integrity, high motivation, innovation and a team player.
 II. Position:
 IT Team Leader (1 Person)
 Key
responsibilities.
  • Accomplishes
    information technology staff results by communicating job expectations;
    planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching,
    counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and
    enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains
    organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and
    supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
  • Directs
    technological research by studying organization goals, strategies,
    practices, and user projects.
  • Completes projects
    by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data
    center.
  • Verifies application
    results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
  • Preserves assets by
    implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information
    security and control structures.
  • Recommends
    information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating
    organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends;
    anticipating requirements.
  • Accomplishes
    financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual
    budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating
    corrective action.
  • Maintains quality
    service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains
    professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
    reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
    benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating
    in professional bodies.
  • Contributes to team
    effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other duties
    assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
 Qualification,
Experience, Skills & Competencies required.
  • Technical
    Management/Technical Understanding/Analyzing Information competencies,
    Minimum 5 years’ experience  as IT manager/ Team leader in such
    companies like Comzafica, Esicia, Pivot Access, EWSA, MTN, Tigo, Airtel,
    Liquid telecom.
  • Should have
    experience in platform based business such as e-commerce, contents or
    mobile BSS
  • University degree in
    computer science or related field
  • A relevant
    post-graduate professional qualification or master’s degree is regarded as
    an added advantage
  • A minimum of 2 years
    of experience in billing department of a similar magnitude.
  • A person of proven
    integrity, highly motivated & innovative.
 III.   Position:
 Marketing Manager (1 Person)
 
Key responsibilities.
  • Support in creating
    marketing strategies for the company’s products and services
  • Report marketing
    plan status and performance
  • Monitor, analyses
    and report market trends, and based upon analysis and feedback, recommend
    marketing strategies
  • To establish and
    maintain good relationship with the retail business partners
  • To come up with
    product planning suggestions through retail business partners requirements
    and market research
  • Contribute to team
    effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Any other duties
    assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time
 Qualification,
Experience, Skills & Competencies required.
  • Business or
    marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’
    experience in telecom marketing with a Mobile Network Operator
  • Experience in all
    aspects of developing data marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing
    skills are an added advantage
  • Experience in
    customer and market research
  • Relevant industry
    knowledge
  • Excellent written
    and verbal communication skills – English
  • Planning, problem
    analysis and problem-solving
  • Formal presentation
    skills
  • Be a person of
    proven creativity, high motivation, and a team player
  IV. Position:
 Senior Strategy staff (1 Person)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leading the
    development of key components of company Growth Strategy
  • Corporate strategy:
    working with senior business leaders to assess and modify strategy within
    each of the company business areas.
  • New market entry:
    identify, investigate and develop opportunities for the company to enter
    new geographic, service or product markets
  • Plan, scope, manage
    and execute several strategy and operational tasks towards greater company
    performance
  • Consistently provide
    insights on the business implications to the company based on the research
    and analysis
  • Contribute to and
    lead creation of deliverables, including reports, presentations and other
    outputs to document and communicate findings
 Knowledge,
Skills, and Capabilities Required:
  • Business or
    marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Prior experience in
    strategy, marketing, or financial analysis required      
      
  • More than five 
    (5) years in Strategy consulting or business strategy experience preferred
  • Strongly developed
    analytical & numerical skills, with proven ability to interpret findings
    to support commercial decision making
  • Strong
    presentation/communication skills, with proven record of effectively
    presenting to both senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated
    proactive and solutions focused thinking to help drive the business
    forward
  • Strong project
    management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadline 
 V.  Position:
 Junior Strategy Staff (1 Person)
 Duties
and Responsibilities
  • Assisting the
    Strategy Manager in monitoring the overall company performance
  • Establishing and
    managing a performance monitoring framework with clear-cut goals,
    outcomes, outputs, inputs, processes, indicators.
  • Work closely with
    the company leadership structures in developing performance indicators and
    targets embedded in the system for implementation and tracking;
  • Work plans and
    overall monitoring framework; at the agreed upon frequency
  • Attend to other
    strategy related assignments
 Knowledge,
Skills, and Capabilities Required:
  • At least Three (3)
    years of progressively responsible experience in performance monitoring ,
    and research private sector, preferably in IT industry
  • Demonstrated
    experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation
  • Excellent analytical
    and interpersonal skills along with strong organizational ability
  • Demonstrate ability
    to obtain, analyze and evaluate a variety of information; organize,
    interpret and present it in meaningful oral or written form for
    varied audiences.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and team working skills
  • High degrees of
    computer literacy are preferred.
