You will undertake clinical duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service. Ensuring that patients are managed using evidence-based best practice, you will work in collaboration with other health professionals and participate in the on-call roster. Assisting with the supervision of clinical practice, you will contribute to teaching Obstetrics and Gynaecology to the GP Obstetricians Registrar, Salaried Medical Officers, Interns and Medical Students as required. As part of your role, you will also actively engage in continuous quality improvement activities. With Fellowship of the RANZCOG, you will be eligible for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia. You will bring experience in the management of high risk pregnancies, operative deliveries and a broad range of gynaecology diagnostic/procedures. Prior experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be very highly regarded. You will be proficient working in a multidisciplinary team within a public hospital setting, and possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships.
