-(PhD): UK Masters degree (or overseas equivalent) at Merit level, which
MUST include a minimum 60% average in taught component, minimum 60% in dissertation,
with no mark below 50%.

at 2:1

students can claim for certain research expenses from the Research Training
Support Grant.
