The Collingwood General & Marine is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work five days per week with full benefits as the Nursing Informatics Specialist. The Informatics Specialist is responsible for the maintenance of clinical Meditech Software modules & training clinical staff, including Physicians, on these modules.
The Informatics Specialist will communicate frequently with the Manager, Health Records, Information Systems Specialists, as well as with the VP Patient Services. The Informatics Specialist must be an expert in Meditech and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Nursing Informatics Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS:
* BScN Degree or equivalent
* Certificate in adult education
* Minimum of 3 years experience in direct patient care in a hospital setting
* Previous teaching experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience with Meditech software
* Excellent computer skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
