1.Temporary Fulltime Lecturers

Centre:
•Lecturer II Carpentry and Joinery (2 positions)
•Lecturer II Bricklaying and Plastering (1 position)
•Lecturer II Painting and Decorating (1 position)
•Lecturer II Key skills ,Mathematics (1 position)
1.1.Salary: C4/C3 (P60 324 – P89 370) Per annum
1.2.Leave: 25 working days
1.3.Qualifications and Experience
1.3.1.Carpentry Lecturer
•National Craft Certificate plus Diploma in
Carpentry and Joinery or construction trades or Diploma in relevant field
1.3.2.Bricklaying Lecturer
•Minimum Diploma in Architectural Draughting or
related field.
•Knowledge and experience in computer aided design
is a pre-requisite
1.3.3.Painting Lecturer
•National Certificate in Painting and a Diploma in
Painting or Construction
1.3.4.Mathematics Lecturer
•Minimum of Diploma specialising in Mathematics
FOR ALL POSTS:
•Teaching and Training qualification will be an
added advantage
•Must be registered with BOTA or be willing to
register with immediate effect
1.4.Experience
•Relevant work experience will be an added advantage
1.5.Main Purpose of the job
•To teach theory and practice according to coarse
content and objectives.
1.6.Duties
•To give theatrical and practical instructions to
trainees of daily basis
•To use various methods and techniques to achieve
goals
•To prepare hand outs, worksheets, tests and
homework for trainees.
•To evaluate progress and attainment of objectives
by trainees through tests, assignments
•Undertakes any other related duties as may be
required to meet the exigencies of the service
