The specific works for the electrical Engineer include but not limited to:
The specific works for the electrical Engineer include but not limited to:
- Calculate
and design electrical installations and provide solutions to electrical
engineering problems. - Making
sure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations. - Produce
and review electrical technical specifications and technical drawings - Researching
suitable solutions for electrical issues, providing estimated costs and
timescales for difference projects. - Contract
management and supervision for the supply, installation and commissioning
of electrical materials and equipment. - Liaise
with local and international suppliers for electrical related items - Liaise
with contractors on electrical matters - Attending
meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and his/her
supervisor. - Conducting/participating
in tests and commissioning of electrical equipment. - Recording,
analyzing and interpreting test data - Prepare
and conduct Quality Assurance and Control Procedures for electrical
equipment. - Any
other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Minimum Education Qualifications
Minimum Education Qualifications
- At
a least Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Master’s degree will be
an added advantage.

Required Experience
Required Experience
- S/he
must have five (5) years’ experience in the field. - Experience
with hydropower plant and electrification projects - Experience
preparing scope of supply and employer’s requirements is essential.

good Inter personal and communication skills - Ability
to deliver under minimum supervision - Ability
to function as team player - The
candidate shall speak fluently English and Kinyarwanda, French knowledge
is an added value.
