NBS Bank Malawi Branch Manager Job Vacancy in Zomba

This position is tenable at Zomba Branch and reports to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the communication, implementation, and delivery of the branch business strategy, and the day to day management of the branch performance in terms of deposit mobilisation, lending book, service delivery, and credit risk management.

Qualifications and Experience
• First Degree in Banking, Business Administration, Accountancy or Economics.
• Minimum of ten (10) years banking experience, three (3) of which must have been spent at Branch Management level.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities will, among others, include the following:
1.Developing branch budgets and facilitating branch strategic planning process.
2.Managing, organising and controlling branch activities, assets and other resources.
3.Maintaining supervisory controls and managing various risks.
4.Credit Management.
5.Cost Management.

Knowledge & Personal Competencies
1.Strategic planning and budgeting skills.
2.People management skills.
3.Good presentation and negotiation skills.
4.Financial analysis skills.
5.Relationship management skills.
6.Results-orientated.
