The National University of Rwanda wishes to recruit Staff Development Officer. The ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Management related field.
Key functions of the staff are;
1. Coordinating the staff training and development and submitting regular reports regarding the progress of all staff on training;
2. Reviewing and up-dating training policies, plans and budgets;
3. Arranging appropriate induction programmes;
4. Identifying training needs in liaison with all academic and administrative units;
5. Measuring, evaluating and following up training activities;
6. Liaising with educational establishments, governments and private training organizations, professional associations, and international training institutions,
7. Providing training advice and information service;
8. Coordinating all staff development-training activities;
9. To process progress report forms from staff members engaged in the training abroad.
10. To process study leave request and ensure that the staff members have signed the training contract before they leave for training
Other competencies
1 A good command of English
2 Working experience within NUR administration would be an added advantage
3 Excellent communication skills
4 Working knowledge of “Microsoft office suite
5 Ability to work with minimum supervision.
