Job Summary: The Stock Control Officer will be
responsible for the effective and efficient stock control services that meet
set standards.

- Maintain
and update and approved product list of the NMS trading stock - Classify
items using ABC analysis periodically to facilitate stock location and
monitoring - Quantify
and forecast trading stock requirements periodically to facilitate timely
procurement - Set
periodically, the average monthly consumption, minimum, maximum stock and
stock recorder levels - Draw up
supplier delivery plans/schedules for trading stock based on available
funds, space and consumption. - Adjust
delivery schedules when necessary to prevent out of stock or overstocking
situation. - Oversee
supplier contracts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to terms and
conditions of their contracts - The
jobholder will send periodic stock status and projection reports as
required - Perform
periodic cycle counts - Make
logical stock placement and movement plans
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
Skills and Experience:
- The applicants
should hold an Honour’s degree in Procurement and Supplies Management and
a minimum of diploma in Pharmacy OR Honour’s degree in Pharmacy and a
minimum of post graduate diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain
Management. - A
minimum of three or more years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
function.
