Opportunity description

Mweva Centre for Information
Technology Developmment is a Non-Government Organisation working to uplift the
standard of living for the youths in Jinja District – Uganda. We use ICT as a
catalyst to foster development and help to create employment.

We are helping the youths to
learn computer skills – we provide free computer courses in Microsoft Word,
Acces
s, Excel, Powerpoint, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Java, Android etc.

We train local teachers to learn
computer skills.

We use ICT to provide an after
school program to kindergattern age children.

We are in the process of starting
new programs in providing free computer courses to the orphans in the district.

We are starting a new program to
introduce computer skills to the disabled.

With these programs, we need a
stream of funding to service our projects. We are looking for a volunteer to
help us in the following ways;

• Write a Grant/proposal to funding organisations.
• Write LOI
• Write reports

Your time on this job will cover
a max of 2 hours a week, we are flexible and some weeks we might not have work.

The maximun duration is 6 months.
