Muktuk Adventures is a wilderness to
urism operation, with a variety of
winter tours/adventures. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic
person to join our team. Our lodge is out of town and off-grid, and we
need someone to welcome our guests and introduce them to our
environmental practices, and off-grid living. We use photovoltaic and
solar collectors for hot water, and work hard to conserve energy. This
person would also oversee recyclying and composting, and make sure
environmental practices are followed (in a cold climate). This would
extend to housekeeping for the lodge and two cabins. Muktuk’s main
operation focuses on sled-dogs, so the successful candidate would be a
dog-lover.
For this role, you should enjoy and work well in a team, and also
independently. You should also enjoy a country lifestyle. In addition
to a stipend, room and board is provided, along with limited internet
access.
This is a busy, seasonal position lasting until mid-April.
