1.SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST
1.1.Job Purpose
The Supported Employment Specialist supports clients
with disabilities to find and maintain employment in their community. This
involves:
•Developing a personal profile
•Planning and implementing internships
•Planning and implementing employment selection
•Providing jobsite training and support
•Providing long term supports
The Employment Specialist also undertakes
organisational marketing by offering the service of a supported employment
provider to relevant employers in the community
1.2.Qualifications & Experience
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Good administrative skills
•A Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent)
•3 years relevant experience
•A driving license
•Most importantly: A passion to achieve inclusive
communities
