We are currently recruiting for a MI Analyst to join our Pricing team based at our head office in Bexhill. This role would suit someone looking to take their first steps in an analytical position. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
As MI Analyst your responsibilities will include:
• Providing accurate data to build and maintain technical pricing models for private car, motorcycle and commercial vehicle and assisting with technical modelling process
• Assisting with preparation and review of analysis by segment, rating factor and distribution channel
• Assisting with the preparation and review of regular management pricing reports. This includes both quantitative and qualitative reporting
• Suggesting areas for improvement in internal pricing processes along with possible solutions
• Identifying and evaluating options through applying original and relevant statistical modelling and assessment approaches
• Providing analytical support in the preparation of business cases aimed at supporting pricing proposals.

As MI Analyst your experience will ideally include:
• Being of graduate calibre within a relevant subject (maths, pure maths, statistics, economics etc)
• Having an analytical outlook and commercial acumen
• A methodical approach to problem solving
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A working knowledge of a statistical modelling tool such as SAS or SPSS
• Experience of using MS Excel as a reporting tool
