Location: GTA/York Region, Ontario
We are looking for 2-3 fall interns to come live and learn at our farm. Your
duties in life all aspects of our baby leaf salad production from planting
seeds to harvesting to packing. Heirloom veggie process. Help with prep and
attend farmers markets. Animal husbandry – feeding and watering (pigs, cow
s,
llamas, birds, etc), collecting eggs and moving outdoor pens.
General farm maintenance and upkeep, so any building or mechanical skills are
welcomed.
Each day on the farm is different and we try and tailor days to suit your
interests.
We have what’s working fun crew, days are sometimes long but rewarding.
Accommodation is available on our cabins or intern house on site. We are close
to the city should you want to check it out on days off.
