Job scope:
The primary purpose of the Marketing Administrator role is to support the marketing team in ensuring marketing campaigns are executed on time, on budget and with best practice in mind and to take responsibility for all the administrative aspects of the marketing function.
Duties:
• Making amendments to company websites and uploading new content
• Writing and creating surveys using survey software, then analysing results
• Liaising with internal departments e.g. communicating new campaigns, creating posters
• Keeping online and printed collateral up to date and maintaining stocks
• Keeping the rest of the company informed about what’s happening in marketing
• Sourcing and producing promotional items for sales team
• Arranging email despatch and analysing performance of email campaigns
• Supporting the Digital Manager on social media activity and ongoing optimisation of all the company websites
• Monitoring forums, media and competitors and spotting opportunities for all brands
• Helping the marketing team to maintain brand consistency throughout the business for each of the brands
• Producing monthly KPIs for company websites
• Assisting PR Manager to evaluate the success of PR coverage
• Proof reading all published material
• Ad hoc administrative duties as required
Objectives:
• To provide efficient, accurate administrative support to the marketing team to help deliver the overall marketing objectives, specifically focusing on acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones
• To present a consistent and professional brand image at all times
• To ensure other departments are aware of marketing campaigns and briefed on any impacts they may have
• To do the above within budgets and timeframes specified by the Marketing Manager
• To work effectively as part of a team

• Strong command of English language – grammar, spelling and punctuation

• Able to juggle a wide range of projects and prioritise accordingly
• Strong interest in advertising, branding and marketing, with an understanding of the role
marketing plays within a company
Education
Essential
5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths and English
Desirable
3 A Level passes
Studying a relevant degree subject (eg marketing, business)
