This position provides academic coordination of medical education, placement
and training for year 4 students of the JCU medicine program in the Townsville
region. The position provides direct teaching
to students on campus and in
clinical placements across the region and supports and coordinates the teaching
efforts of the clinical preceptors who also contribute by tutoring students
and/or taking students on placement in their practices. The position also
contributes to the development of the overall curriculum and year 4 clinical
placements across north Queensland.
The position may be undertaken by more than one person on smaller fractions.
Employment Type: Appointment will be full-time for a fixed term to 31
December 2015.
Salary: Academic Level C – $102,988 – $118,228 per annum.
Commencing salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience.
