1.Senior Health Safety and Environment Officer
1.1.Job Summary
Reporting to the HSEQ Superintendent, the incumbent
will be responsible for implementation and management of Health, Safety and
Environment programmes and supporting systems to ensure that HSEQ risks to
project activities are minimized. Conduct appropriate SHE training and coaching
of employees to meet the current and future
needs of the project. In addition they assist to mentor and coach the HSEQ
team.
1.2.Job Requirements
•Diploma/Degree in Health Safety and Environmental
Management
•Recognized Certificate in Health and Environment
Management
•Samtrac or equivalent
•Certificate in Training and Assessment
•Registered BOTA Trainer
•Minimum 3 years experience in a Mining or related
environment
•Trained Incident Investigation (ICAM or
equivalent)
•Experience in an SHE supervisory/co-ordination
role
•Desirable additional qualifications – ISO Auditing
•Botswana Driving license

3.Security Officer
3.1.Job Summary
Reporting to the SHE Superintendent, the incumbent
will be responsible for providing security services in Majwe Mining work areas
to ensure that the company assets the people are secure at all times.
3.2.Job Requirements
•BGCSE or above
•Security training, Police Service Preferred
•Some H.S.E qualification will be and added
advantage
•Certification in First Aid/Health preferred
•At least 3 years security experience
•Botswana driving license
3.3.Key Effectiveness areas

•Ability to communicate effectively
•Ability to work effectively under pressure
