Research Governance Administrator

Reporting to the CTSU Manger, the
Research Governance Administrator (RGA) will be responsible for ensuring
guidance and compliance of program research activities to Protocol, Institutional
Policies and National Regulations, Ensures Ethical and Regulatory compliance of
all Research activity at MLW, in liaison with various Research Stakeholders and
Institutions
Ensure that research projects in
MLW programme adhere to ethics and legal framework, Coordinate submissions and
communication for MLW Research Projects with bodies responsible for research
ethics and regulatory authorities, Manage MLW document control system, Conduct
internal audits to monitor compliance to Good Clinical Practices
Degree in Laboratory Sciences,
Nursing, Pharmacy or related field, At least 1 yr proven hands on experience
working in a clinical, academic and/or industrial environment working in a
clinical academic and/or industrial environment in a Research Governance role,
Managerial experience of no less than one yr
Experience in Clinical Research
in Malawi, Knowledgeable in Research Ethics and Legal framework in Malawi
