1.SOUS CHEF: Permanent

1.1.Job Summary
The role of the Sous Chef is to prepare culinary delights for our guests and
owners and execute the menu ensuring a high level of performance, guest
satisfaction and profitability. Guest satisfaction revolves around the food
appearance, high quality of the food and overall dining experience. The Sous
chef is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry
stations and other areas in the kitchen.


1.2.Special Qualification
•Cost control, basic communication, computer skills and leadership skills

1.3.Education & Experience
•A Diploma in culinary education from a recognized institution
•Ideally 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry

1.4.Core Competencies
•Approaches food in a creative way
•Strong supervisory skills
•Positive attitude
•Good communication skills
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
•Excellent grooming standards
•Excellent planning and organizing skills.
