Koru Distribution is seeking a third member to join our team. Founded
in 2009, Koru is a fast growing distribution business wholesaling
cutting edge eco-friendly lifestyle brands to Canadian retailers. Koru
focuses on selling products that are non-toxic, reusable and made
close to home and of sustainable m
aterials. The company distributes
its products in a highly efficient manner, allowing for green products
to be sold at a competitive price and as a result, available to a
wider section of the Canadian market. As a result, Koru was ranked one
of the fastest growing companies in Canada.
The position will initially include a wide range of responsibilities,
largely focused on sales and sales support. As the company grows, the
role will evolve based on the specific talents demonstrated.
The position is full time, starting in mid-October. It is salaried,
with ample room for bonuses and raises. The selected candidate will
work from the Centre for Social Innovation Annex office at 720
Bathurst St, Toronto near the Bathurst subway station.
Desired Skills
• Fluent in English, preferably fluent in French as well.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
• Competent using the Mac operating system.
• Passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and community.
• A minimum of 2+ years sales experience. Experience in
business-to-business sales and/or within the apparel channel is an
added asset.
• Understanding of current design and fashion trends.
