2,060,383 RWF-2,227,391 RWF per month, depending on experience
Job purpose
Know Zone Rwanda is
a partnership between the Governments of Rwanda and the United Kingdom. The
project is funded by DFID and is an innovative educational TV programme running
parallel to the syllabus with studio and drama elements which tackles Rwanda’s
literacy, numeracy and life skills challenges in an exciting way.
Key
responsibilities
- Marketing
of current pilot project to new donors, in order to attract funding for
one full year of Know Zone Rwanda TV programming - Working
with multi-disciplinary team to produce creative and original media which
attracts large audiences - More
specifically, oversee all Know Zone Rwanda project activities and be the
main contact point for the donor and the Mediae staff. - Responsible
for overseeing the development and execution of project deliverables, lead
project planning, budgeting, action plan and monitoring processes. - Lead
and motivate the project team and monitor project activities and project
expenditure and coordinate work with consultants and external agencies in
the project. - Ensure
close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to
guarantee smooth implementation of activities and achievement of results
as specified in grant agreements.

Essential
requirements
- Previous
experience in project management, marketing and overseeing large budgets. - Proven
experience of working with different media which communicate with large
audiences - Good
time management skills. Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. - Good IT
skills — Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Excellent
written and spoken English - Sound
experience managing project budgets of around £500,000. - Experience
in website design
Desirable
