Qualification

• Knowledge
  of computer skills.
• Registration
  with National Council of Nurses and midwives.

• Hygiene
  procedures of the of the patients
• Handling
  of laboratory specimen Management of patients complaints Decontamination
  of instruments and clinical equipments
• Assist
  patients and colleagues in adopting sounds infection control measures
• Take
  responsibility for own developmental learning and performance, including
  participating in patients care
• Assist
  patients with their meals
• Transporting
  patients in different areas of the hospital

• Should
  have wide experience in both anesthesia and critical care.
• Having
  an experience in managing pediatric and adult cardiac surgical ICU is an
  added advantage.

• Should
  be registered with Rwanda Medical Council
• Should
  have the competences to manage neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric
  anesthesia cases.
• Should
  have good clinical skills and acumen Should be able to manage junior staff
• Should
  have the capacity and be willing to teach postgraduates
• Should
  have good communication and interpersonal relationship with patients and
  peers

• Responsible
  for the maintenance of standards of care and implementation of quality
  improvement program within the department.
• Should
  be Customer Care oriented
• Perform
  specialized interventions to minimize referral of patients abroad.
• Assist
  the Head of Department and other senior colleagues in the administration
  and development of the Department.
• Participate
  in the departmental management regarding the infrastructure reeds —
  financial, physical, equipment, staff and support for the Department.
• Assist
  in the development and fulfillment of departmental objectives.
• Should
  be able to share patient management within and inter departmentally
• Participate
  in the provision of after-hours consultant support to the services in the
  department.
• Participate
  in outreach program for the development of health services on approval of
  hospital management
• Participate
  in the departmental teaching program for medical professionals.
• Undertake
  appropriate clinical research and support the research efforts of junior
  and senior staff.
