KCN,Chaplain Jobs in Malawi

Working closely with
the Dean of Students and Assistant Registrar (students Welfare) the Chaplains
shall be responsible for
Providing advice to management in matters
relating to religion and morals, Providing general counselling, moral and
spiritual support to students and staff regardless of one’s faith, Attending
pastoral needs of students and staff on and the college community in general,
Coordinating religious services of all groups on campus in liaison with
students leaders, Pr

esiding over ceremonies like funerals and memorials and
other relevant special events, Developing and maintaining rapport between the
college and religious bodies

At least a Bachelors Degree in Theology or
Counselling or related field with a minimum of 5yrs experience in pastoral
work, Experience in interfaith dialogue will be an added advantage
The College is looking for a person with
sound moral and spiritual background, able to handle the affairs of his/her own
life with par excellence, maturity and wisdom, passionate about young people,
sociable habits, living a life above reproach, with high regard for academic
life and must keep abreast with developments in the area of chaplaincy both
locally and internationally
