1. Assistant Librarian – Reference And User Education

Responsibilities :
Responsible for the coordination of the reference operations, the essential job functions will include the following:
* Provide professional reference and subject advisory services to all users affiliated with the University.
* Prepare and update library information and instruction guides.
* Review courses offered and subject syllabi and make recommendations for purchase to support teaching and research needs.
* Assess quality and physical condition of library materials and make recommendations for retention, weeding, or preservation of items.
* Promote and provide instructional and information skills sessions to individuals, groups and classes on the use of library resources, including the use of databases, and produce documentation to assist in training and teaching.
* Analyse usage statistics and evaluate contents of databases.
* Maintain liaison with faculties on current library issues and library services.
* Explore potential applications of new technology in reference and user education services.

Requirements :
* A degree in a subject relating to the sciences/social science, preferably with professional qualifications in library and information studies.
* Possess good computer skills, including online searching and the use of MS Office applications.
* Previous experience in using and searching online databases will be an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Commitment to providing quality service to users.
* Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

2. Web Developer

Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will join the Business Application Support Team in designing, implementing and supporting the University’s Student Management System, Research Management System and any Web-based business process/workflow system. He/She needs to understand customer business requirements; develop and implement new features and services to enhance the Web & SharePoint services.

Requirements :
* A Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, I.T. or equivalent with at least 3 years related working experience.
* Good experience on Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, & PHP.
* Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques, especially MS SQL.
* Possess a good command of English, both spoken and written.
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Other necessary attributes include the ability to work independently and to be proactive and resourceful.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Semenyih.
* Full-time position available.

3. Purchaser

Responsibilities :
* Liaise with suppliers to negotiate for best prices, terms and conditions
* To initiate new procedures where needed and to ensure the current procedures & systems are adhered to at all times
* Plan and manage the overall tasks of material purchasing and ensure timely delivery of all materials to perform matching on purchase orders (P.O) delivery orders (D.O), invoices and statement of account with suppliers
* Sourcing for new suppliers and evaluation of their portfolios
* Liaise with suppliers for corrective action request related to supplier delivery problems
* To carry out price review activities for existing purchase materials
* Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure services rendered are of best prices and quality within budget allocated by the management
* To submit daily report on items ordered, ordering status, quantity and prices to management
* To maintain suppliers contact list
* To manage, supervise and monitor delivery of goods schedule daily
* To maintain the supply and ordering of office stationeries
* To do ad-hoc assignments when instructed

Requirements :
* Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/”A” Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma,any field.
* Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
* At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
* Well-groomed and possess pleasant personality

4. Administrative Assistants

Responsibilities :
Vacancies for Administrative Assistant are now available across the University in various departments/faculties. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake a wide range of administrative functions which include data entry, processing, follow-ups, filing and other administrative duties. He/she will assist to ensure the effective and efficient run of the respective departments/faculties.

Requirements :
* A Diploma holder.
* At least 2 years working experience preferably in the education industry.
* Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
* Other necessary attributes include people centric, accurate, diligent and proactive.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Semenyih.
* Full-Time positions available.
