on behalf of IITA is seeking to recruit a Driver/Clerk with the main
responsibility of managing the IITA project vehicles in Rwanda and handling
various clerical tasks within the organization. The Driver/Clerk will work very
closely with staff to provide efficient support to staff and organizational
activities.

Main
responsibilities include:

Driver
- Normal
pre-drive checks on official vehicles. - Follow-up
with garage on service of official vehicles. - Cleanliness
of official vehicles. - Entry
of mileage records in the log book and send monthly records to the
Accountant. - Driving
of staff on field visits. - Receiving
and transporting visitors.
Clerical

- Running
general office errands – bill payments, official document delivery etc. - Sourcing
for quotations during procurement of office supplies and equipment. - Any
other tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
The
candidate shall have the following competencies, skills and experience:

- High
School or College Certificate or Diploma - Valid
and clean driving license and certificate of good conduct - At
least two (2) years of relevant work experience in a closely related field
gained in an international organization - Basic
computing skills with knowledge of MS Office applications - Good
written and oral communication skills with good command of English
language - Must
be able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also
participate as a team member in accomplishment of duties. - Possess
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good judgment and a high
level of respect for confidentiality. - Strong
ability to co- ordinate, prioritize and organize workload; take initiative
and work under pressure. - Highly
effective planning, organizational and multi- tasking skills with a
positive attitude. - Ability
to work in a multi- cultural environment.
