2016.
Ravine Creek Farm is looking for an intern for the 2015 growing season. We are
a certified organic, family-run, mixed vegetable farm located in the South East
interior, 40 mins from Nelson, BC. We sell our produce at the Nelson Farmer’s
Market and through our CSA program, the farm continues to expand as demand
consistently exceeds supply. We would like to work with someone who is
enthusiastic about food and farming – good physical fitness, stamina and an
abundance of positive attitude are key to enjoying this work!
The position is from April 1st to October 31st, work-week averages 4 days/week,
8 hour days.
Room, board and stipend of $50/week provided accommodations in your very own
Tiny Home! A self-contained 100-year old log cabin.
The Slocan Valley is a very progressive and affirming community, as young
farmers ourselves we have been overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm we
have been shown by our neighbours.
