This high growth multinational medical technology company is looking for a talented Sustaining Engineer to join the R&D Engineering Team. This is an integral part of the R&D team with a core focus on localisation of product.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Performing sustaining and localization work of electronic and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
• Implement best practice for optimized product cost and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers ensuring adequate feedback and compliance.
• Design/Redesign projects.
To be successful in this role you will need:
• A relevant Degree/Masters in Electrical/Electronics engineering.
• Extensive experience in PCBA design in analytical instrumentation or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of analog and power electronics in a high voltage/electro-optics environment.
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be willing to travel.
