TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE :
TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE :
- Assist
in coordinating and monitoring complete product development process.
- Coordinating
samples, print strike-offs/ lab dips; identifying potential QC issues
and troubleshooting them. Preparing approval samples for final Sign
Off from the Product Manager/Buyer. - Data
entry and maintenance of development spreadsheets, price lists and
photographic register; - Effectively
communicating with overseas suppliers and customers on a daily basis. - Administrative
activities including arranging overseas and local couriers and processing
purchase orders.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
To be successful you must have the
following skills and experience:

- A
tertiary level qualification (fashion, interiors preffered etc); - Knowledge
of Apparel/Homewares production and/or product
development, quality assurance and laboratory testing in textiles
preferred. - Excellent
computer skills in all MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience in Creative
Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) - High
level attention to detail; A demonstrated ability to multi-task and
meet deadlines; - Team
player attitude and willingness to think outside the box - Flexibility
with regards to job responsibilities. Extremely strong ability to
multi-task; with the desire to work in a fast paced environment and an
ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes. - Effective
interpersonal and organizational skills. - Must
demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful attitude and a passion and
interest in Homewares.
